The song we parodied is from the Lion King, Hakuna Matata. We decided to write our parody about vegetarians because we thought it would be funny. We got it from the perspective of a vegetarian who used to eat meat but had a change of heart. We mainly just wanted this song to be as stupid as we could get it to be.
We tried to keep some of the lyrics the same, so that it resembled the original song, but it was also our own. We wanted to mimic the duet parts of the song just like Timon and Pumba. Overall we didn’t pay that much attention to being in tune since it would be funnier if we sounded awful.
